At present the club owns a ready supply of regulators, cylinders and buoyancy compensators for pool training and open water diving. This ensures new members have equipment readily available for use and do not have to hire / buy their own gear.

We currently have:

13 Apex TX40 Regulators with TX40 Octopus
10 Spiro Ranger and Supra Regulators
15 Buddy Commando stab jackets

With all this we should be able to put up to 25 divers in the water at any one time. Some members of the club own their own equipment and this increases the number of divers we can put in the water.

We also have a set of octopush equipment. Octopush is an underwater hockey game played with two teams and a lead puck. The aim is to push the puck into the opposing teams goal mouth. The game is played in snorkelling gear and each team member has a coloured Octopush paddle/wand/stick.

We have our own static compressor and a number of portable compressors (trailer mounted or free standing) for filling cylinders for pool training and on trips. The static compressor can fill either DIN or A-clamp cylinders to 232 bar.

We also have two club owned 4.5m Humber RIB's available for use. These are equiped with Yamaha 40hp outboard engines. This gives maximum room for divers and equipment. Each boat has it's own safety equipment carried on board. This includes flares, VHF radios, oxygen administration kits and anchors. We also have an echo sounder so we know when we run aground!!
